The Wall Charger 2 (Single Phase) is a smart EV charging solution designed for efficient home and workplace charging. It features Auto Solar Charging, allowing you to utilise excess solar energy to power your EV, helping maximise the benefits of renewable energy while reducing electricity costs. The charger also includes Tariff Sense, an energy management feature that connects to compatible tariffs to provide real-time insights and control over charging costs. Models are available with Wi-Fi/LAN, Wi-Fi/LAN/4G, or Wi-Fi/LAN/4G with RFID, offering flexible connectivity options. It delivers dynamic charging up to 7.4kW (32A) and is fully compliant with the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021, including Schedule 1. Smart functionality is enabled through the Sync Energy App and OCPP 1.6J connectivity, with free lifetime over-the-air updates. For safety and ease of installation, the charger includes integrated open PEN conductor protection (no earth rod required) and a built-in 30mA Type A RCD with 6mA DC protection. The unit features a Type 2 socket with auto-lock, and a tethered version is also available.
